Heber Farm

Heber Farm is part of the Dales Farmers in Education project and offers fun, engaging curriculum based visits and activities for schools.

The farm is a mixed livestock upland tenanted farm which is now part of the National Trust Upper Wharfedale Estate. It has been farmed by Garry and Gill Schofield since 1995 and includes 800 ewes (mainly Swaledale), 20 suckler cows (mainly Limousins) and 20 rare breed belted Galloways.

The farm covers 890 acres of grassland ranging from the valley bottom with flat level meadows in the floodplain of the River Wharfe to steep valley sides over limestone and rough grazing with dwarf shrubs at highest level.

Download the Heber Farm profile for more information about the farm, activities, location and contact details.
