YDMT Walk: Wharfedale
Wharfedale guided walk.
Kids Stuff, Walk, Supporter Day, Flowers of the Dales Festival
A scenic 6 mile walk from Burnsall taking in river banks, woodland and limestone pastures, and exploring the fascinating geography, history and heritage of Wharfedale. In partnership with mountain leader Mark Reid, author of ’The Inn Way’ guidebooks.
Some of the paths may be slippery underfoot, and there will be a number of stiles and some inclines. Walking boots and appropriate outdoor clothing are essential. Please also bring a drink and snack. Sorry, no dogs.
There will be the option to join us for lunch at the Red Lion inn afterwards (approx. 1pm).
