Celebrate National Meadows Day at Bell Sykes Coronation Meadows in the Forest of Bowland. It's a chance to learn more about the plants and wildlife which inhabit the meadows, take a guided flower or bug walk, watch rural craft demonstrations, learn about the traditional uses of meadow plants, see a meadow cut by hand, sit and enjoy tea and cake. Guided walks at 11am and 2pm (£3). Teas available at additional cost.

Time: 10am- 4pm. Guided walks start at 11am and 2pm.

Place: Bell Sykes Farm, Slaidburn

Age: All welcome (accompanied children)

Cost £3 per person for the guided walks. Teas and cakes at additional cost.
