A one-day integrated training and assessment ideal for anyone who uses a brushcutter or strimmer. If you work in agriculture, horticulture grounds maintenance, forestry, game keeping, etc. you may well need some level of formal training to cover your insurance requirements.

The course covers:

  • The use of brush-cutters or trimmers
  • Pre-use checks and maintenance
  • Identification of controls and instruments
  • Operating the machine to cut or trim to the capacity of the machine.

Course dates:
30 March and 10 August 2017
Cost: Training fee of £135 will be paid through the Stories in Stone project.
Assessment fee £70, payable by candidate upon booking.
